Granbury ISD

Lipan ISD and Tolar ISD are the three major school districts
in Hood County. Granbury serves the majority of the county. Tolar ISD serves the
Western part of the county while Lipan ISD serves the northwest corner of the
county. Brazos River Charter School District in Nemo (Somervell Co) accepts charter
students not only from Somervell County, but from Hood, Johnson and Bosque Counties.
